Charlie Forshaw

As an AUB alumna, I'm passionate about creative education and supporting students from a range of backgrounds in accessing higher education. In my role as SUN Project leader, I facilitate and support the Uni Connect programme which aims to give students from underrepresented groups the tools to make informed choices about HE and raise their attainment in school.

After studying the BA (Hons) Make-up for Media and Performance course at AUB, I spent a year working as a freelance artist in addition to working with the make-up team at AUB as a Casual Technical Demonstrator. The skills I learnt as a student at AUB were invaluable to my current working life, not only developing my creative skills but my work ethic and passion for education. I was thrilled when the opportunity came up to work at AUB full-time; beginning in the Admissions team I worked closely with colleagues across AUB to ensure our applicants were well supported throughout the application process and beyond.
