Charlotte is Access and Participation Co-ordinator at AUB, supporting the delivery and development of initiatives that widen access to higher education for students from underrepresented backgrounds.
Her work spans key programmes including All Access AUB residentials, Being a Boy workshops, bursaries, the Outreach Ambassador network, and Saturday Art School. She also builds and maintains partnerships across education, industry, and the third sector- helping ensure AUB’s outreach is both far-reaching and impactful. She firmly believes in the life-changing potential of creative careers and is a big champion of helping more people see that path as something they can access and thrive in.
Before joining AUB, Charlotte was a producer of award-winning observational documentaries for BBC, ITV, and Channel 4. Her work brought forward underrepresented voices and complex, real-world stories, from young offenders in prison and frontline A+E departments in London, to police custody suites, New York State jails, and invested parties along the US–Mexico border.
New(ish) to Bournemouth, she’s keen to get under the skin of the local creative scene – especially live music, dance, and performance – so recommendations are always welcome. Outside work, she’s usually watching films, eating biscuits, or Irish dancing… occasionally all at once.
