David Stock

David has been Deputy University Secretary and Head of Academic Operations since October 2022, having joined AUB in 2015 as a School Operations Manager, later the Academic Operations Manager. David's remit is across the University from Foundation to the Graduate School, including online courses and delivery at our partner institutions Bournemouth and Poole College and The Northern School of Art.

As Deputy University Secretary, David supports the University Secretary in their work on governance; as Head of Academic Operations he is responsible for leading the teams in Timetabling and Room Booking, Quality and Standards, and the Academic Office, which offers administrative support to students and staff.

Prior to joining AUB, David worked at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for over a decade, and later managed SUBU Advice at Bournemouth University. He has experience of school governorship and charity trusteeship and has acted as an auditor for the NUS.
