Ian has spent 20 years in design and innovation as the creator of award-winning and internationally bestselling digital products. He has been Honoured by the Apple Design Award, the Royal Television Society and the Art Director’s Club in New York. He is the Founder and CEO of venture capital-backed healthtech startup Aide Health and formally the Founding Partner of Zolmo, a studio best known for its work with Jamie Oliver and some of the top-grossing, top-rated apps of its generation with over 20 million downloads. He is the author of Spark for the Fire: How Youthful Thinking Unlocks Creativity, and the creator of the online course Sell the Idea, which is used by some of the world’s best creative teams, from the BBC to Dyson and Accenture.
Ian previously served as part of the design and creative leadership for agencies in WPP and Publicis Groupe and has spoken at 30+ conferences worldwide, including Semi Permanent, Cannes Lions, and Thinking Digital. He has written for Fast Company, Sifted, The Guardian and Creative Review and is an advisory board member of D&AD Shift.
