Jack is a Senior Lecturer on BA (Hons) Graphic Design. Joining the course in 2021, he splits his time between teaching with active industry work as a consulting Creative Director.
In his industry practice, Jack has both worked within as well as led multidisciplinary creative teams in London, Brighton, Berlin, Sydney and Bournemouth, and has worked with clients like Audi, BMW, E.ON, The European Space Agency, Lexus, Marshall Amps, Porsche, Virgin Media and Volvo. His work covers a wide range of projects – from crafting global brand identity and design systems, to writing and directing ad campaigns, executing shoots and content production, and creating physical and digital experiences.
Jack previously led the creative team at AprilSix as Creative Director, where he oversaw a number of DMA, Marketing Week and Drum Award wins for the agency, while also serving on the Board of Directors.
Jack now runs his own independent creative practice, while also contracting for global agencies like R/GA, MediaMonks, and The&Partnership.
Originally studying BA (Hons) Graphic Design at AUB, Jack was invited to work with the course in 2016 as a Visiting Lecturer, and joined the BA (Hons) Graphic Design team on a permanent basis in 2021 as a Senior Lecturer, where he works primarily with third year (level 6) students.
From connecting the students to 'live' industry briefs, to running concept development and pitching workshops, and developing the students' ability to make conceptual creative connections and push creative boundaries – Jack aims to bring his knowledge of current industry best-practice to the course, helping bridge the gap between creative education and the evolving creative industries.
