Jan Juillerat has a long career in education and research in the UK, with leadership and Executive roles in Further and Higher Education and the UK Research Councils/UKRI. Jan started her career in education with a specialist Art and Design College and later joined the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Jan’s professional background and experience spans HR, organisational development and corporate governance, as well strategy, capability andperformance from Executive and NED roles.
Jan is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a qualified OD Practitioner, Executive Coach and Mediator, and a Fellow of the RSA. She has served on the governing boards as a Trustee/Director of a number of organisations, and is currently Deputy Chair of The Careers Research and Advisory Centre, CRAC (Ltd), the Vitae charity. Until 2024 Jan was Vice-Chair of Council at Cardiff University.
Jan works across education, research and not-for-profit as a consultant, coach, reviewer, advisor and working partner, supporting effective practice, positive culture and behaviours, organisational capability and organisational performance. Alongside her independent practice, Jan is an Associate with two leading sector organisations. Grounded, resourceful and solutions-focussed, with an open and inquiring approach, Jan is a strong advocate of inclusivity, creativity, dialogue and collaboration.
