Overview
Karen Sexton is a Lecturer in 3D, Architecture and Modelmaking, working on the Foundation Diploma since 2008.
Having trained as a Silversmith and jeweller, she continues to work within industry as a product designer for various International Luxury Brands. Working in materials as diverse as precious metals, gemstone, china, glass, leather and wood, her work spans the development of product ranges for retail, to extravagant bespoke object d’art for private clients.
With a passion for making and materiality, and having completed an MA in Fine Art in 2022, she continues to develop her personal practice through drawing, ceramics, and sculpture.
