Malcolm graduated from the University of St Andrews, going on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London before moving into investment banking. There followed an MBA and a spell with his sponsor, a strategy firm in the USA. Malcolm went on to hold senior executive roles in global corporations before, in his early forties, he found his dream career: a portfolio of established NED roles running alongside hands-on participation in startups, always seeking variety of sectors and geographies.
Serving today as chairman of two AIM companies, he is also senior independent director with a large venture trust on the London Stock Exchange and trustee of the Royal Society for Public Health. When not in Dorset, Malcolm and his wife can usually be found in Malta. They have two adult sons.
