Richard is the second year tutor and specialises in industry awareness and professional practice, he also teaches studio and location practice.
With over 10 years experience working as a photographer and art director, Richard has worked for clients in the advertising, music, design, editorial and publishing field, clients range from ITV, BAT, Cobra Beer and Toblerone to various high profile acts in the music and design industry. He has exhibited nationally alongside artist such as Tracey Emin, Steve Pyke, Hannah Starkey, Gavin Turk, Nadav Kander, Martin Parr, Paul M Smith, Bridget Riley and David Bowie. His photographic prints are now held in several notable private and museum collections.
Richard has a Master's in Photography from The University of the Arts London – LCC and a BA (Hons) degree from Exeter School of Art and Design, University of Plymouth. He is a member of the creative practice-led research network Land2 (Land Squared) and the Crux Research group at AUB
Richard has been a Senior Lecturer at AUB since 2008
