Vicky-Nenya Uzzell

Hello and welcome to Arts University Bournemouth! I’m Vicky-Nenya, the Progression Officer within the Access and Participation Team at AUB. My role involves enabling students from under-represented backgrounds to gain valuable experience outside their main degree studies whilst at AUB, and then to progress onto fulfilling careers. One aspect of this is to support students who are estranged, care experienced, or a young carer and who receive our Stand Alone Bursary, Care Leavers Bursary or Young Adult Carer Bursary.

I will be a point of contact for you while you are studying with us at AUB and will meet with you at least three times during the academic year, advising you on the various types of support available so you can get the most out of your time here at AUB. My role also involves making connections across the University to enable me to support students as part of improving access to higher education for under-represented groups.
